The new portable CO₂ measurement instrument from Anton Paar is suited for quality control in bottles and cans, as well as control measurements in tanks and beverage tubings in the production of soft drinks, beer, sparkling wine and mineral water. The mesurement technique is the method on multi-volumen determination proprietary of Anton Paar. This method accounts for the partial presures of other disolved gases and deducts these from the measured total pressure, and permits the fast and accurate determination of the CO₂ concentration independently of other disolved gases. The measuring system is free of any drift, and the results are not influenced by changes in the atmospheric pressure, temperature of the sample or sample flow rate. The Carbo QC is supplied with a calibration and therefore immedeately ready for measurements in tanks or tubings. In combination with a filling system, it can be operated with samples from glas or PET bottles or cans.
