UVP, an Analytik Jena company, and a world leader in life science imaging, is excited to participate in two major events to showcase its new iBox Scientia 900 Bioluminescent Imager and the Explorer 2 macro and micro imaging system.
Both instruments have been at the World Molecular Imaging Congress (WMIC) in New York on September 7-10 in 2016. WMIC is led and participated by academic and industry professionals with recognized expertise in molecular imaging. UVP has participated in the event for the past many years.
UVP has also teamed up with Dr. en Cs. Rodolfo Hernández Gutiérrez, a user of iBox Explorer at CIATEJ (Center for Research and Assistance in Technology and Design of the State of Jalisco, AC) and CONACYT (National Council of Science and Technology). Dr. Hernández is a scientist at the Biotechnology, Medical and Pharmaceutical Department. Together, a course seminar on "Fluorescent Tumor Xenografts: its relevance in validation of new anticancer therapies" will be presented at the CIATEJ facilities in September 29-30 in 2016, in Guadalajara, Jal., Mexico.
Dr. Robert Hoffman, CEO of AntiCancer, Inc. headquartered in San Diego, California, with offices in Japan, Korea, and China, will be one of the international guest speakers in this seminar, along with Dr. Sean Gallagher, vice president and CTO of UVP.
